If you went on Desert Island Discs what would your luxury item be?

Stephen - Sunblock!.

What is your favourite Boyzone song to perform?

Stephen - It changes but at present I love performing Isn't It A Wonder, You Needed Me and I also like Every Day I Love You.

Do you plan to release another solo album?

Stephen - Not at present but I would love to do a musicals album.

How much money do you spend on clothes?

Stephen - I have no idea - I tend to only shop for clothes when I'm in America.

Have you ever had any sort of cosmetic surgery?

Stephen - No and I don't like needles. I may consider it later on though if I felt it was needed.

I'm hopefully going to inherit a pet snail for my fish tank soon. Would you do me the honour of naming it please?

What do you think of fans from overseas coming to see you perform?

Stephen - It's very flattering - it's amazing that people are prepared to travel just to see a show.

What makes you angry?

Stephen - Rude people.

What is your favourite non alcoholic drink?

Stephen - Ame - grape and apricot flavour.

When is the release date for your first book?

Stephen - Sorry but it's not finished yet. I probably have about 40 pages to write but I haven't started to look for a publisher yet so I don't know if it will ever be published.

When you see the fans from the stage do you ever remember anyone's face or do you just see a sea of people and not remember anyone?

Stephen - There are usually lots of faces I know in the audience but you can't see very far back from the stage.

What is your favourite food?

Stephen - I like Japanese food particularly kobe beef.

When you're on stage you're always so full of energy - jumping and running around - yet you still belt out every note perfectly without sounding out of breath. What techniques do you use to do this night after night?

Stephen - Nothing particular I just enjoy myself up there and the in-ears we use help you keep in tune as you only hear your own voice which helps you keep your tuning right.

What cologne do you use at present?

Stephen - either Tom Ford Japon Noir or Terre d'Hermes.

What is your favourite song to sing?

Stephen - I have three favourites - Unchained Melody, Over The Rainbow and Summertime.

Sold out tour, multi platinum album or starring in a West End role?

Stephen - Sold out tour - you can't beat the feeling of being up there on stage singing.

If you were to be reincarnated what would you like to come back as?

Stephen - A kobe beef cow - they get massaged everyday, given beer to drink and are never allowed to walk anywhere.

Which thing couldn't you live without?

Stephen - Face creams.

If you could choose to sing a duet with any Boyzone member who would it be?

Stephen - Ronan

Is it true there will be a musical about Boyzone?

Stephen - No - but it would make a fun story.

Are you on the internet a lot?

Stephen - Not really - I come on to check emails and the site and board though regularly.

Who is your favourite designer?

Stephen - Tom Ford.

Have you ever ignored an incoming call because you don't want to talk to the person calling?

Stephen - Yes - if someone calls at an inappropriate time i.e if I am out to dinner etc.

What's your greatest fear?

Stephen - Fire - burning alive.

Where would you recommend a tourist visits in London?

Stephen - Take a trip on the London Eye - it's the best view of London and an incredible way to see it.

Do you ever get nervous before you go on stage?

Stephen - I used to but not as much after T.F.T.(Though Field Therapy or 'Tapping'.)

Will you ever go back to being a solo artist?

Stephen - I much prefer being in a group although I'd like to maybe do a small solo gig where I could sing all my favourite songs sometime.

Have you read Shane's autobiography?

Stephen - No - I don't feel I need to as I know what's in there.

When will you write your own autobiography?

Stephen - I feel I'm still too young at present and have a lot more to do in my life yet. I might consider it when I'm older though.

Are you doing another musical this year?

Stephen - No I won't have time to with my Boyzone commitments.

If you could perform a duet with any other singer who would it be?

Stephen - Celine Dion or Michael Jackson.

Do you have a favourite theatre to perform at?

Stephen - The Palladium in London - beautiful theatre with a big audience capacity and a great tradition.

How do you like your steak cooked?

Stephen - Medium.

Do you think people can be judged on appearances?

Stephen - I think some people form a view of others based on their appearance but I believe you need to take the time to talk to someone and get to know them before forming your opinion of them.

Where is your favourite place to escape to?

Stephen - New York because I don't have to worry about anything and I can make a fool of myself if I want and not feel I'm being watched.

If you hadn't got into Boyzone all those years ago what would you being doing now?

Stephen - Auditioning for X Factor or doing something in the entertainment business.

If someone wants to be a singer what advice would you give them?

Stephen - Be prepared for a lot of knock backs but keep going and don't listen to those who tell you to give up.

Are you happy in your life at present?

Stephen - Yes very happy.

What is the weirdest thing a fan has ever said, done or sent to you?

Stephen - One girl told me she was having my baby...

Do you have any celebrity crushes?

Stephen - Yes - anyone who has played Superman, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds...and sometimes Cristiano Ronaldo...

What is the most you have spent on an item of clothing?

Stephen - Two thousand pounds on a Gucci jacket - Brad Pitt has one the same.

When is the tour DVD going to be released?

Stephen - Around Christmas time. It looks really good and I'm very happy with it. There will be lots of extras on it too.

Have you done anything embarrassing lately? If so tell us what it was, there no chance you're avoiding this question for the third time!

Stephen - Oh yes I can - it's my site so I can avoid it if I want to...although forgetting the lyrics to A Different Beat at one of the gigs was pretty embarrassing.

How many pets do you have?

Stephen - Three - one dog and two goldfish.

When was the last time you cried?

Stephen - Watching Lord of the Rings the other day.

Who did you last see in concert?

Stephen - The Spice Girls.

What is the best thing you came away with from Dancing On Ice?

Stephen - My friendship with Kyran Bracken.

Do you have any allergies?

Stephen - Mushrooms.

Which of the Boyzone guys are you closest to?

Stephen - Shane - he's always been like a big brother to me.

Which is your favourite shop?

Stephen - Selfridges - you can get everything under one roof.

Who is the most famous celebrity in your mobile phone?

Stephen - Elton John.

You're sitting at home on a day off, you have a load of popcorn and the TV. Which 3 films/TV programmes would you spend the day watching?

Stephen - I actually did this recently. From 10am to 11pm I watched the three extended versions of Lord Of The Rings.

Right this very second what are you most looking forward to?

Stephen - Sitting on the couch watching Vantage Point in Blu-ray because I'm very hungover as I was out last night.

Which of your roles in musicals have you enjoyed playing the most?

Stephen - Joseph - it was a fun role to do although I did enjoy dressing up as the Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Do you prefer the Boyzone fans as they are now or back when you were together previously?

Stephen - As they are now as they are a bit more reserved and it's less manic. I miss the banners though - there aren't as many now.

Do you keep all the presents you get from fans?

Stephen - I don't - if I did I'd need a far bigger house! I do try to make sure they go somewhere nice or that a charity benefits from them.

Do you really read the forums on your site especially the messages to Stephen threads?

Stephen - Yes I do - I'm always interested to see what you think of the things I do.

How would you like to be remembered when you are no longer here?

Stephen - As a good, nice person. That's what matters most.

Lots of bands have reformed over the last few years. Is there any band you would love to reform that haven't yet?

Stephen - Abba

If you could present any show on TV which one would it be?

Stephen - X Factor

Where do you spend the hot summer days? In the sun or in the shade?

Stephen - In the shade - I'm not good with the heat and I prefer autumn.

How do you drink your coffee?

Stephen - Black and strong.

What do you do after a gig? Relax or celebrate?

Stephen - Celebrate - there is just no way you can relax with all the adrenaline still flowing after a gig.
